Day of the Dead Altar Exhibit & Celebration

Join us on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022 from 6 PM to 8 PM CST in the Community Courtyard at allgo (701 Tillery St, Austin, TX 78702) for our Annual Day of the Dead Community Altar Exhibit & Celebration.
Take some time to remember and honor departed loved ones and/or queer ancestors as they guide us through the challenging, joyful, and healing times ahead. Welcome them back for a brief moment to reflect on their life, love and shared memories. Share in a delicious hot meal and connect with the vibrant queer and trans communities of color and those that love us that will be gathered around the warmth and glow of the altar “veladoras.” Don’t forget the “pan de muerto” with a cup or hot chocolate on the side. Take in the atmosphere enhanced by the live music and our guest performances. If this is your first time celebrating the holiday or you do it every year without fail, this is the event for you.
Feel free to bring memorabilia to place on the community altar.
We will also provide the option for folx to join us via our livestream online for those who are not able to attend in-person
