Accessing Health Care as Queer People of Color

Join us on Friday, September 25th from 1- 3 PM to discuss Accessing Health Care as Queer People of Color as we support one another in our journeys towards health and wellness. Together we will share what some of our experiences in accessing medical care have looked like and any barriers we may have encountered and/or overcome. We will also go over and talk about some useful strategies to increase the chances that we are taken seriously and that our health is promoted.

Let’s take control of our wellness, advocate for ourselves, and find autonomy in our well-being. We deserve to feel welcomed with dignity and respect when we step into the waiting room at a doctor’s office and have a healthcare provider that wants to know who you are so that you receive treatment according to your specific needs.
