In-Person – Queering Relationships: A Guided Watercolor Event

ueer Relationships have historically not had the best representation in the media. It is even harder to encounter ones that also center Black, Indigenous, or People of Color experiences. This can make it challenging to navigate our own relationships if we don’t have much to reference. Queer and transgender BIPOC folx deserve healthy relationships based on trust, respect, communication, and all the other good stuff that makes you feel like you are floating on air and thriving.
Join us on Tuesday, August 23rd from 6:30 to 8 PM as we talk about queer relationships while working on a guided painting that you can frame on your wall or gift to a special loved one! No experience is necessary. Arrive solo, or bring a friend or a group of them and make a night of it! For this In-Person event, we expect the weather to be cooler in the evening so we will be able to host onsite here at allgo in our outdoor courtyard. We will keep you updated if the weather forecast changes. Mask wearing is encouraged.
This session will be facilitated by allgo Program Coordinator Bryan Garcia. Bryan has been at allgo for almost 3 years and comes in with over 10 years of experience in facilitating.
