Community Healing Series: g’beda
April 17, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
In light of social distancing during this time, allgo and Texas Association Against Sexual Assault (TAASA) created ‘Community Healing Series’, a virtual meeting space for community to come together to learn more about collective community healing. Every session will feature one healer who will tell their own personal journey to a healing modality, showcase that modality, and make time for community questions and discussion.
We invite you to join us on this virtual communal experience as we move through a variety of cultural and ancestral healing modalities, some of which we know and have experienced ourselves, and others that we may never have heard of and are curious to learn. This space is only for communities of color, specifically centering Black and Indigenous communities, as well as queer communities of color. We invite allies to share the series with their families and friends of color. Attendance is free of cost, though any donations made will go directly to the healer for that particular session.
Each session will be recorded for internal usage by the featured healer and the organizers. Nothing you say will be shared without your explicit consent.
