What is it?

The Summit is our first statewide gathering of activists, organizations, and community members coming together to build relationships, think critically, envision liberation, and create strategies that build and sustain a queer people of color movement across the state of Texas.

 

Who should attend?

Activists, organizations, individuals and allies who are interested in participating, sharing, reflecting and learning about working with queer communities of color for liberation and how our own personal health and wellness are vital to this work.

 

What is the Content of the Summit?

The two-days will include activities and workshops that would allow the group to safely engage in dialogue, reflections, learning and sharing of experiences. Some areas include: honoring our history, strengthen our network, growing and sustaining a movement, and creating possibilities for  economic and social change in queer communities of color that bring about liberation from the inside out.
