How To Self Care

Though we may know that self-care is important in our lives, it’s still a journey to understand what counts as self-care for us, and when we need it. It’s important to actively integrate routines, emergency kits, and the like into our daily lives, as we navigate work stress, sexual and romantic relationships, and many other spaces. Join us on Wednesday, September 25th at 6:30 PM to discuss what self-care is for each one of us, whether that is masturbation, yoga, or some peace and quiet.
We will map out our unique needs, what coping skills and self-care routines work for us, and when to use them. There will be some handouts and coping skills infographs!
Feel free to bring any resources you may want to share.

Event is wheelchair accessible. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Visitors are always welcome to bring food or drinks to share, but it is not at all required to attend. This event is one of many this year around promoting the well being and vitality of QPOC communities in Austin, TX.
